FAQs

  • If this is your first wax, your hair should be at least two to three weeks grown out or about one quarter of an inch long. That is roughly the length of a grain of rice. If the hair is too short, the wax may not be able to grab it properly which can lead to uneven results.

For the best experience and the smoothest results, especially for a Brazilian or bikini wax, let your hair grow and avoid trimming before your appointment. We will take care of the rest.

  • Yes, you can absolutely get waxed while on your menstrual cycle. Just make sure to wear a fresh tampon before your appointment and you are all set. Keep in mind that your skin may feel more sensitive during this time, so you might experience a bit more discomfort than usual. We will still make sure you feel as comfortable as possible.

  • Yes mama, you can. Pregnancy hormones can cause hair to grow faster and thicker, which means you might want to get waxed a little more often to stay smooth. We welcome expecting moms and will always take extra care to keep you comfortable.

  • You may feel a quick sting right after the wax is removed, especially if it is your first time. To help with any discomfort, you can take an ibuprofen about an hour before your appointment. Most clients find the feeling passes quickly and gets easier with each visit.

  • Most people get waxed every four weeks to stay consistently smooth. Everyone's hair grows at a different pace, so some may need to come in a little sooner while others can stretch it to five or six weeks. We can help you find the schedule that works best for your body.
